Warmer today...and hoping for summer!

This is the video that I helped produce and is now currently online at http://www.nordstrom.com/ 's homepage, I think after 6/18, or atleast here until 7/14: http://shop.nordstrom.com/C/6017535/0~2376776~2374327~6017535. It was a fun and interesting experience working with the art direction team in L.A., and cool to be the first video ever to play on the homepage, embedded there, as a pose to the homepage taking you somewhere else that the video may live. Today in Seattle it was like 12 degrees warmer than yesterday, so maybe we actually have a chance to see some summer!

Let's see some milestone for the summer so far:

1 - Noel's condo closes next Monday the 16th and he moves into our new townhouse on Wednesday the 18th!

2 - I follow by moving on Sunday the 22nd and we cohabitate officially! (along with Pugsley and Annabelle - that ought to be interesting) I have to clean my apt. the 23rd- 27th and then paint it out white by the 29th.

3 - Sunday the 29th is the Pride Parade and Shaney is visiting

4 - Wednesday July 2nd is George Michael at the Key Arena

5 - August 15th through the 23rd is our Provincetown trip (with a day in Boston)

6 - September 18th through the 22nd is our Toronto trip for Juliana's wedding

I love to travel, but I am really excited to stay home at our new house and hang this summer.

More...stay tuned!

"Colder than Siberia!"

...I love this headline of today's Seattle Times. It's true, it's been freezing...BRRRR! People are wearing ski coats and gloves in June! WTF! The world is SOOO upside down! The paper goes on to say "...It doesn't seem fair, but it's the cold, hard truth - accent on cold: While Seattle hasn't seen a 70-degree day in more than two weeks, Fairbanks, Alaska, has had six of them in the past 10 days (Olso, Norway is 72F, Portland, Maine is 72F, even the town Tomsk, Siberia, Russia is 61F...3 degrees warmer than Seattle the last week)..." We even got 10 inches of snow in the passes last night! Meanwhile the Northeast is getting it towards 100F...WEIRD! The picture here is the view from my Queen Anne apartment last winter...or is it tonight? Hee Hee...BRRRRR
Meanwhile the midwest has had more tornados than the last 100 years. And this all on the heals of the devistating cyclone in Myanmar (formally Burma) where 40,000+ died on May 2nd and then the massive mid-China earthquake on May 12th killing over 35,000+ people! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24573168/
What the hell is going on??? Well if Heidi is right the earth IS ending on the Mayan calendar December 21st, 2012. YICKS! http://www.survive2012.com/ ... http://www.survive2012.com/why_2012_maya.php
...and this is creapy...looking into the future for the whole year 2012: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012 (I love wikipedia!)
...Well we have 4 years and 193 days TO LIVE IT UP!
LIVE EVERY DAY TO ITS FULLEST! EVERY DAY LIKE ITS THE LAST!

Greenlake or bust!

Happy June!  Looks like a month of change has been ordered up...
After last months milestone b-day, this month is all about moving!

So to start off, while I am dog sitting Pugs in Northgate and Noel's in Chicago at a conference...we are moving our offices at Nordy.com. Our division continues to grow even though the economy sucks and Nordy's inc. is not doing so great. So my desk moves on Wednesday.  But the bigger change...

...WE GOT THE TOWNHOUSE IN GREENLAKE at 85th and Stone, 6 blocks north of the lake! Exciting!  Noel sold his condo and has to turn it over by Thursday June 19th.  He gets the keys to the new pad, which I believe is 8513-B Stone Ave N., on Monday June 16th, so he has a couple days to totally move.  I am thinking I will move the weekend of the 21st, which gives me a week pass that to clean. Of course we have to work around Sunday the 22nd 'Run for Pride' and Sunday the 29th Seattle Pride Parade.  I hope to totally be out before the 29th anyways. So by July we will totally be cohabitated, dog, cat and all!  Stay tuned for more info when we get closer...
