As a digress...talking about traveling...my 2007 was a wonderful year of trips. I started 2007 staying with Shelly in New York City. There we are at Rockefeller Ice Skating rink...30 ROCK baby! I had a little run in with an Indian, then we had a grand time with two Aussie's until Shelly got kicked out of the swank bar at 4am (reason why I'll leave up to your imagination)...then a great NYE party with a bunch of Flips right by ground zero. New Years day at the Guggenheim, what could be better!
Then skiing with the parentals in February in Sun Valley. Hanging with my Dad and beautiful step-Monster is always a blast... Red or White wine? Their house in the Elkhorn Valley is awesome...nothing like drinking in the hot tub/jacuzzi in the snow under a starry ski. And more family at Easter time at the parentals "wine vineyard get away" in Walla Walla (http://www.wallawallavacationhome.com/amenities.html), yes, I'll take another glass of red!
By June Heidi and I were jet setting to Los Angeles for Kelly's 40th b-day. The whos who of Bravo TV and E!Entertainment were there...did I mention Heidi and I ended up working it as much as we schmoozed it...and I slept on an ottoman in my suit in the fetal position in the maid's quarters (yes, a story there too). But we saw Marisa Tomei, so it was all good.
In July I saw Colorado for the first time, flying with Tracy and visiting Brian
Brydges...seeing Denver, hanging in Boulder and taking a pilgrimage to Fort Collins - the birth place of Ms. Dallas. The Rockies are pretty amazing. Miss my Brian, and was so good to see him and get to know his boy Brett.

Miss my Brian, and was so good to see him and get to know his boy Brett.Vancouver in August for PRIDE with Shane and Noel. The Canadian gays are crazier than us Seattlites. Yoo-hoo!!! Stayed in a lovely room at the 'Budget Patricia' in Chinatown (that was sarcasm)...maybe the name should've been the first hint? LOL. Then there was Noel at 3 in the morning craving Ketchup potato chips...oh dear. They're actually DAMN good, eh?!
By the end of September Noel and I were galavanting off to the United Kingdom where we hung in London for a week with a day trip to Canterbury in Kent. London soggy but fabulous, museums, tea time at the Tate Modern, the tube at midnight "Mind the Gap", pooping in the Opera house, stalking the memory of Princess Diana, 'Cabaret' on their Broadway (Picadilly) and the Queen... what more could you ask for? How about a 1000 year old Cathedral in Canterbury, the seat of the Anglican Church (think the Vatican City for the Church of England)? This is where Thomas Beckett was martyred...murdered!!! Oh and I
cannot forget my/our hook up with my Vallarta BFF from Toronto, at a lovely pub north of Berkley Square just east of Hyde Park >>> that's us in the photo having 'Foster Tops' with a cute lassie from Sussex, Jackie <<<
On the way back from the UK, we stopped in Chicago for 3 days. Saw Oprah's old "house", Boeing's new "house", the Sears Tower, 'Wicked' on their Broadway, Wrigley's Stadium "go Cubs", Nordstrom on Michigan Avenue, the Bean (below), and my 20+ year dream to see the Art Institute of Chicago (see me swimming through Monet's waterlilies at the top right nav). Finally saw Seurat's "Un dimanche après-midi à l'Île de la Grande Jatte" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunday_Afternoon_on_the_Island_of_La_Grande_Jatte)I met Noel's Chicago buddies and I got to see more of his life, or a different part of what is Emmanuel Caraig. They are awesome, very welcoming Flip boys.

It was great seeing you in London my lovely. Seeing you and meeting Noel was one of the highlights of our trip! Hope you can make it to Toronto this summer, when we'll try to find some authentic mushy peas!!!
